WHAT TO WEAR FOR EASTER
When I was a little girl the thing I loved most about Easter was shopping for a new dress. Not just the new dress either, but the accessories too! This usually involved patent leather shoes and a matching purse. I could not have cared less about the candy; it was all about getting dolled up for church! So, you see, what to wear for Easter has always been a priority for me.

Whenever I write a post like this, you know a “what to wear for xyz” the same considerations always need to be taken into account. Things like the weather where you live and the kind of event you’ll be attending. Easter is no different; for some it may be a casual affair while for others it’s time to pull out all the stops!
Easter Outfit Ideas for Warmer Climates
Almost a general rule, Easter is on the casual side for us. Typically we eat outside and enjoy a pretty day filled with too much food. Casual for me is more of a “smart casual” or “elevated casual” – no jeans and t-shirts here! Here are a few contenders.
An eyelet dress in white or another color says Spring! Wear it with heels or flats.
Slip dresses can be dressed up or down. My pink one is a favorite for sure.
Easter Outfit Ideas for Cooler Weather
When I was 4 we lived in New Jersey and I can remember it snowed. So for some, the above outfits may not be an option at all. I like the idea of adding a blazer and wearing pants rather than a dress.
Tweed jackets are so popular this year so you’ll see them readily available. It’s a good thing because they never go out of style, so grab one if you don’t already have one. I’ve worn mine lots of ways, but if it’s a little cooler on Easter, I’ll pair mine with a bodysuit and my white trouser jeans. The pop of pink from my Teddy Blake bag is the perfect accessory!
