New Jersey has farms, parks and beaches that provide outdoor activities. Finding ways to have a healthy lifestyle couldn't be easier in some Garden State towns.
Twenty cities are considered to be the healthiest, according to a study from Leafwell, a medical telehealth company.
The rankings are based on an analysis of Google Search, trends of health-related terms from 109 regions, towns, and cities across the state. There were 305 search terms, such as: “how to be healthy,” “how to make a healthy smoothie,” “workout gyms near me,” “best way to lose belly fat,” “gym near me” and “healthy food near me."

Results from the data revealed two Monmouth County towns are in the top 2: Tinton Falls, No. 1, and Freehold.
The top two search terms from Tinton Falls were: “gym near me” and “healthy food near me.” And residents searched health-related terms 2,911 times per month (per 10,000 people) and a total average of 5,665 searches per month over the past 12 months.
Freehold residents' top search terms were: “gym near me” and “healthy food near me.” Residents of Freehold search health related terms 1,980 (per 10,000 people) and a total average of 2,475 per month over the past 12 months.
