Why I love it

We love chocolate pretzels because they are so easy to make and they have that salty and sweet flavor that makes you go back for more.

Kids can make them with your help and they are so cute! Who doesn’t love a Grinch christmas snack? They are so much fun this time of year.

Make it a party with our Grinch gnome cookies and some yummy gumdrop punch.

Ingredients

All you need are three simple ingredients for this one.

And they are non-perishable so you can stock up and save them for whenever the mood strikes.

You will need:

  • Square pretzels
  • Green candy melts
  • Red heart sprinkles (you can find the larger size at Michaels. Wilton also has jumbo sprinkles.)

How to Make Grinch Pretzels

We love dipping pretzels in chocolate, but this method is so easy and mess free. I love it! Let the oven do all the work and save on cleanup.

First , preheat oven to 250°F.

Arrange pretzels on a baking sheet.

Then place a green candy melt on top of each pretzel and top with a candy heart.

Carefully put the pan in the oven for 3-5 minutes. I recommend an adult for this step because the pretzels tend to slide around.

The candy will melt quickly, so keep an eye on them. You want them just melted enough to secure the pretzels and the hearts together.

Remove from the oven and transfer to a wire rack for cooling.

Once the Grinch pretzel bites are set, enjoy!
